Apple i phone 5

Following this evening’s official iPhone 5 unveiling, Apple has confirmed its sixth-generation smartphone will land later this month, with a September 21st iPhone 5 UK release date added to the diary.

In keeping with past launches, Apple has revealed that its latest flagship handset will hit retailers just nine days after its formal unveiling, with the confirmed September 21st iPhone 5 release date being penciled in just two days after iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPad owners are given the opportunity to download the new i OS 6 update.

Going by Apple's history, the new iPhone should have new trendy and attractive features in keeping with the changing market preferences. iPhone 5 is expected to have a larger screen, thinner profile and more features than the older version, iPhone 4S. While critics had given a thumbs-up to the iPhone 4S due to its new camera Siri and fast processing speeds, the phone lacked LTE support.
The iPhone 5 is speculated to have 4G or LTE connectivity to support high-speed broadband and applications. LTE connectivity can be a big boost to Apple's sales considering that telecom operators around the world have been rolling out their 4G networks.
